Research Associate - Fragrances & Flavors

Role & responsibilities

• Creation of Fragrances & Flavors.
• Procurement & maintenance of library of F&F RMs while doing periodic testing (both organoleptic & analytical)
• Providing essential support to R&D projects.
• Conducting sensory & stability studies
• Preparation of extracts at lab scale.
• Documentation as per international standards.
• Exposure to GLP practices.

Requirements

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications :

• Masters degree in Science / Perfumery & Flavor Technology or
• PGDM Perfumery/Cosmetology and understanding in Perfumery/Flavor creation

Work Experience :

• Minimum 1 to 4 years of experience in Fragrance & Flavor (F&F) houses or FMCG companies
• Proven scientific expertise/ demonstrated experience in establishing SOPs in flavor/fragrance/FMCG industry.

Skills

• Good understanding in organoleptic profiles of Fragrance & Flavors RMs
• Hands on experience in compounding Fragrances/Flavors with basic understanding in creation.
• Knowledge on F&F product evaluations and consumer requirements.
• Hands on experience on GC-MS, HPLC or LC-MS

Knowledge

• Knowledge on F&F olfactive families
• Good communication skills
