Project Associate/Project Manager - Strategic Support States

Project Associate/Project Manager at Central Square Foundation (CSF) focused on enhancing learning outcomes of school-going children across India through system-led reforms, specifically in Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN). The role involves streamlining monitoring systems, setting up internal monitoring, designing frameworks, operationalising dashboards, and supporting data review mechanisms. It also includes governance support, capacity building, knowledge product development, and communication strategy coordination. The Strategic Support States (SSS) team assists the states in designing and implementing FLN missions. This involves co-ideating goals, identifying workstreams, setting indicators, and reviewing mission progress, as well as conducting action research projects and pilots. The team works across five states and focuses on accelerating student learning and strengthening the country's education landscape.

Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of experience. Demonstrated skills in data and measurement (quantitative and qualitative), including design of tools and strategies for data collection, data visualisation, drawing analysis and insights, and reporting and presentation. Ability to understand complex research/data to draw actionable inferences. Strong action-bias, influencing & communication skills - ability to synthesize technical insights into actionable program agendas, facilitate conflicting points of view, drive collective decision-making. Ability to work independently and proactively, without support staff and with little supervision. Proficiency in MS Office, documentation, visualisation tools such as PowerBi and LookerStudio, and data analysis. Excellent writing and presentation skills.
