Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python programming, web frameworks, database management, and cloud-based application development. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications.
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Implement automated testing and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure application security and data protection standards are followed.
• Monitor application performance and support deployment activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Python backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with ORM frameworks like SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Familiarity with Git version control systems.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis.
• Experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization standards (OAuth2, JWT).
