Job Description

The qualified candidate will assist senior level structural engineers with responsibilities including but not limited to: • Structural design with limited supervisory responsibility in the preparation of design. • Coordination with structural and other discipline engineering staff as necessary to develop structural designs. • Preparation of structural design studies and reports. • Participation in the development of project proposals.
Skills & Abilities

Intermediate Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices. Knowledge of engineer principles of design. Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.). Good written and verbal communications skills. Intermediate knowledge of engineering analysis/design software (e.g. Revit, STAAD, RISA).
Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering • 3+ years of experience with structural engineering design • Proficiency in use of STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, MS-Word, MS-Excel, MathCAD. • Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is preferred. • Familiarity with international standards such as BS,ASCE, IBC, AISC, ACI, ASTM. • Experience with static and dynamic equipment foundations, steel structures like pipe-racks and equipment supporting structures, steel and reinforced concrete buildings, connection designs, development of design criteria, specifications and standards. • Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis methods and software. • Experience with structural designing for water/wastewater/other industrial/facilities(building) projects • REVIT and MicroStation skills
