This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and group online chess classes via Chess Gaja's LMS (Learning Management System) using Zoom.
- Create structured lesson plans and training materials tailored to each student's level.
- Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the Chess Gaja academic team to maintain consistent teaching standards.
- Continuously improve teaching methods and stay updated with modern chess trends and tools.

VIDEO REQUIREMENT

An open-access video (Google Drive or similar, viewable without permission) demonstrating your chess teaching skills in English.
- If you do not have an existing clip, please record an 8–10 minute teaching video on "Calculation" or "Pin", with your camera turned on.

Additional Requirements

FIDE rating of 1400 or above (We have GrandMasters in our team as well, so if you are a GM you can apply as well!)

Fluent in English (spoken and instructional).

Strong passion for teaching chess, especially to young children.

Comfortable with technology including Zoom, Google Sheets, Lichess.org, ChessBase, and similar tools.

Stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps) and a desktop or laptop with a webcam.

Professional, committed, flexible, and open to learning.

Currently, we are hiring only Indian coaches.
