Graduate Engineer Trainee (Helpdesk)

Overview

Chi Networks, a Chicago-headquartered IT company with a strong presence in India, is seeking dynamic and results-driven enthusiastic and skilled Graduate Engineer Trainees to join our growing team in New Delhi.  This is a full-time position for recent graduates who are passionate about technology and eager to kickstart their careers in a dynamic IT environment.  As a GET, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in various domains such as managed services, cloud computing, and network/security operations.  You will be supporting Indian and US clients.

Key Responsibilities

●        Learn and assist with implementation/ maintenance of IT infra for clients

●        Support the team in delivering managed services, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution

●        Contribute to our cloud offerings by helping with deployment, configuration, and management of cloud resources (e.g. AWS, Azure)

●        Gain exposure to Security Operations Centre (SOC) and Network Operations Centre (NOC) functions, assisting with incident response and monitoring

●        Collaborate with senior engineers on various projects and tasks

●        Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and product knowledge

●        Adhere to company best practices and client service level agreements (SLAs)

Requirements

Qualifications

●        Education:  BCA/ MCA/ B.Tech./ B.E. from a recognized university

●        Communication:  Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

●        Technical Aptitude: Strong foundational knowledge of computer science principles, networking concepts, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and databases

●        Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

●        Eagerness to learn and a proactive, problem-solving attitude

●        Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Location & Additional Details

●        Work Timings:  24x7 environment.  Employees will be needed to work in night shifts

●        Work Days:  5 days per week, with consecutive/ staggered week offs, any 2 days of the week

●        Job Type:  Full-time, on-site

●        Location:  New Delhi, India

●        Mandatory:  Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to New Delhi for this position
