ChopArt is an arts nonprofit serving homeless teens in Atlanta, New Orleans, Hyderabad, India and Accra, Ghana. We provide in-shelter Arts programming, street outreach and summer camps for 30,000 homeless teens all around the world. Our program is designed to build community, provide creative entrepreneurial opportunities for the youth and to combat some of the negative effects of youth homelessness such as drug abuse, sex trafficking and suicide. ChopArt is seeking candidates for the following internship opportunity. Selected interns will work alongside the CEO and Founder and committees to develop programs, policies, and informational databases. Compensation: This is a volunteer only position. Though your expertise and contribution is extremely appreciated, Chop Art is unable give financial compensation for the position. Job title: Impact Assessment Intern Reports to: ChopArt Family Therapist Time commitment: 12 months, 5 hours a week

Job Description

Project: The current impact assessment uses qualitative data to assess the impact of ChopArt on its participants. Impact assessment is moving towards using pre/post test data, input of parents and community stake holders. Description of Work: Work involves using quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess the impact of the Chop Art program. Job responsibilities would include searching the literature, identifying valid and reliable measurements, developing / implementing assessments, screening results, and analyzing/ presenting data on the impact of Chop Art on its participants. Includes research and development of final report.

Qualifications

Experience in research analysis is required. Meticulousness and strong work ethic are essential. Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree, preferably in psychology. Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work
