Data Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic data engineer to join our experienced team at CleverInsight@Nilgiris. You will report directly to the development manager and assist with all functions of software coding and design.   Your primary role is to learn the codebase, attend design meetings, write basic code, fix bugs, and assist the product development in all design-related tasks. 

● Design and Implement highly scalable and reliable product features
● Develop scalable, responsive code to satisfy user stories
● Write automated tests using automated testing frameworks

● Participate in peer code reviews

● Present solutions at sprint review/demo Requirements

● Experience developing object-oriented software in an agile environment

● Experience developing software on a cloud platform, such as Google Cloud or AWS

● Proficiency in one or more of Go, Java, Python or Javascript

Requirements

● Proficiency in Linux CLI and shell scripting

● Experience with Git, Rest API.

● Exposure to network protocols, such as TCP/IP and SNMP

● Experience Delivering SaaS products in a DevOps-oriented CI/CD environment

● Working knowledge of continuous delivery platforms, such as Spinnaker

● Experience with systems, network application management software is a plus
