Description
- Handle routine accounting, transaction processing, and month-end processes under the guidance of the Deputy Finance Manager concerned, including timely processing of staff travel and other reimbursements, verification of all vendor payments and legal dues, etc.- Work closely with the accountant to ensure accuracy, approval and correct charging of financial expenditure against project budgets/codes.- Ensure implementation of financial control procedures as laid down by the organization and ensure strict compliance with applicable in-country laws and regulations, including taxation laws, to the extent they relate to the Finance Officer's work area.- Support program teams with timely and correct information as and when required.- Provide support for statutory, internal, and donor...
