CA0281 - Data Engineer I

The Data Engineer I role focuses on developing and maintaining data pipelines, building BI dashboards, and supporting data operations. The role involves working with Snowflake, SQL, and BI tools such as Power BI or MicroStrategy to ensure reliable data availability and reporting for business teams.Key ResponsibilitiesExtract, cleanse, and load data from multiple sources.Build and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Snowflake.Develop and support BI dashboards using Power BI and/or MicroStrategy.Investigate, analyze, and document new data sets.Triage incoming data-related bugs and incidents.Perform technical operational tasks related to data systems.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data pipelines and reporting.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data and reporting needs.

Strong working knowledge of SQL. Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses. Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or MicroStrategy. Basic understanding of ETL concepts and data pipelines. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot data issues. Good communication and documentation skills.
