CLOUDESIGN TECHNOLOGY
Description
Migrate existing 3D models and drawings from SolidWorks to Creo. Rebuild, clean up, and optimize models for Creo interoperability and Windchill compatibility. Update assemblies, parameters, family tables, metadata, and configurations based on ABB's standards. Design, revise, or validate electrical cabinets, control panels, power cabinets, and device mounting structures. Support routing provisions, structural reinforcements, clearances, thermal considerations, and enclosure fitment. Ensure adherence to electrical design best practices, including wire management, component spacing, and safety norms. PLM Documentation & Change Management: Upload, manage, and release design data through Windchill PLM including WT parts, documents, and ECR/ECN. Validate and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) and ensure mapping accuracy in SAP (added advantage). Work with supervisors to maintain consistent design standards and ensure smooth migration workflows. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with electrical engineers, manufacturing teams, and PLM admins to clarify design intent. Review migrated designs for correctness and resolve discrepancies or missing data. Participate in technical discussions to ensure mechanical + electrical alignment during migration.
Eligibility Criteria
Strong expertise in PTC Creo (part modelling, sheet metal, assembly, detailing). Good experience in Windchill PLM (check-in/check-out, WT parts, ECR/ECN, BOMs). Hands-on experience in electrical component design, such as: Electrical cabinets Control panels Power cabinets Device mounting structures Enclosures Mechanical engineering fundamentals.
