Role Overview:

We're looking for a creative and driven Social Media Executive who lives and breathes content. If you have a knack for storytelling, love turning tech topics into fun and relatable content, and understand what makes content go viral—this is your sign to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• 🎬 Content Creation: Ideate, script, and produce engaging short-form content (Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.) around coding, tech careers, student life, and trends.
• 🧠 Scripting & Concepts: Develop viral content ideas and storyboards that resonate with Gen Z and tech-interested audiences.
• 📈 Platform Growth: Contribute to the growth of our Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube & Twitter through strategic content planning and experimentation.
• 💻 Tech Savvy: Simplify complex tech concepts (coding, AI, careers in tech, etc.) into entertaining content pieces.
• 🤝 Collaboration: Work closely with the design, video, and community teams to execute content plans on time.
• 📊 Performance Tracking: Use basic analytics to understand what's working and iterate accordingly.

Requirements:

• ✅ 2-3 years of experience in social media content creation and video scripting.
• ✅ Proven ability to create fun, relatable, and high-performing content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.
• ✅ Understanding of basic coding/tech concepts (so you can speak the language of our audience!).
• ✅ Strong copywriting and storytelling skills—especially for viral & scroll-stopping content.
• ✅ Comfortable in front of the camera (optional but preferred).
• ✅ Up-to-date with internet culture, meme trends, and tech/career content on social.

Good to Have:

• 🎥 Basic video editing or familiarity with tools like CapCut, etc.
• 🧑‍🎓 Past experience working in the ed-tech or tech space.
• 📊 Basic knowledge of analytics tools like Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, etc.
