Job Summary

• DATA:Join our team as a Specialist in Loan Originations where you will leverage your expertise in MS Excel to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. With 2 to 4 years of experience you will play a crucial role in supporting our underwriting and pre-underwriting functions ensuring accurate and timely loan processing. This night shift position requires working from our office providing you with the opportunity to contribute to our companys success and impact the financial well-being

Responsibilities

• Analyze loan applications using MS Excel to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to facilitate seamless loan processing and decision-making.
• Utilize your technical skills to develop and maintain Excel-based tools for tracking loan originations.
• Provide support in pre-underwriting activities by reviewing documentation and identifying potential issues.
• Ensure all loan documentation is complete and adheres to regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.
• Monitor loan application progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to loan originations.
• Implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and speed of loan processing.
• Conduct regular audits of loan files to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Support the development of training materials for new team members on Excel-based processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of underwriting and pre-underwriting methodologies.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive client information. Qualifications
• Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel including advanced functions and data analysis capabilities.
• Possess a strong understanding of loan origination processes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in underwriting or pre-underwriting is highly desirable.
• Exhibit excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a night shift environment.
• Show attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
• Display adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
