SPE-General Operations

Job Summary

This is an SPE level general operations role in a multinational organization focuses on supporting transportation and emergency services queries via calls.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer calls regarding daily transportation operations and or Emergency Services activities.
• Manage Outlook email communications
• • Maintain detailed operational reports in Excel trackers
• Collaborate with Transport POC and vendors as and when required.
• Support rotational shift coverage by diligently handing over open tasks updating shared trackers and documenting pending issues so that the next shift has clear visibility and can continue operations without disruption.
• Follow standardized operating procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement by highlighting repetitive issues observed in logs or emails suggesting adjustments to templates or trackers and supporting pilots of process changes that enhance operational efficiency.
• Adhere to rotational shift schedules and productivity expectations by organizing personal tasks prioritizing time critical activities and maintaining consistent performance to support stable operations in a work from office environment.
• Support organizational purpose by maintaining accurate records enabling timely transportation decisions and helping ensure that goods and services reach communities reliably thus contributing to wider economic and social well being through effective operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate good proficiency in Outlook email usage by composing clear messages organizing folders and tracking communication threads in a way that supports transparent coordination of transportation activities.
• Apply practical skills in Word to create and refine operational documents by using formatting tools tables and structured layouts that make procedures reports and communication easy to read and follow.
• Utilize Excel effectively for operational support by entering data consistently using sorting and filtering applying simple formulas.
• Display strong attention to detail in every task by carefully checking data entries verifying document fields and reviewing email content before sending thereby reducing errors that could disrupt transportation operations.
• Show adaptability to rotational shift work by planning personal routines maintaining alertness and collaborating respectfully with colleagues across different time bands to support continuous office based operations.
