Social Media Intern

We are looking for a Social Media Intern who will help manage and execute social media for multiple brands and internal pages.

This role is ideal for someone who understands content creation, social media trends, and platform usage, and wants to build a career in digital marketing.

You will work closely with the team to plan, create, and post content consistently across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Execution

• Create and manage monthly content calendars across platforms
• Schedule and publish content on Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms
• Ensure content is posted consistently and on time
• Plan content based on campaigns, launches, and brand goals

Content Coordination

• Work closely with designers, editors, and writers to execute content
• Ensure reels, carousels, posts, and stories meet brand quality standards
• Review content before posting and ensure accuracy
• Coordinate feedback and revisions with the team

Account Management Support

• Handle day-to-day social media activities for assigned brands
• Support campaigns, product launches, hiring posts, and announcements
• Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams

Engagement & Community Management

• Monitor comments and DMs regularly
• Draft replies aligned with brand tone
• Identify trends and moments where brands can participate

Performance Tracking

• Track metrics like reach, engagement, saves, followers, and clicks
• Prepare simple weekly performance reports
• Support content improvements based on performance data

Trend & Platform Awareness

• Stay updated with Instagram and LinkedIn trends and algorithm changes
• Understand what type of content performs and why
• Actively research reels formats, hooks, and creator trends
• Suggest content ideas and experiments regularly

Who You Are

• 0–1 year of experience in social media
• Strong understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn algorithms (reach, engagement, hooks, retention, posting patterns)
• Knows what type of content works on each platform and why
• Hands-on experience with reels, carousels, and short-form content
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and timelines
• Creative mindset with the ability to consistently generate content ideas
• Actively follows trends, memes, and creator content
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
