Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compliance-driven Servicing QC Specialist to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in mortgage servicing quality control, with strong knowledge of HUD/FHA, GSE, and investor guidelines. This role requires expertise in auditing servicing activities, identifying process gaps, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and investor requirements. The candidate will play a critical role in maintaining servicing accuracy, minimizing risk, and supporting audit readiness. In addition, the specialist will be responsible for tracking and managing exceptions, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of discrepancies to strengthen overall servicing quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct QC reviews across servicing functions including payment processing, escrow administration, default management, and claims.

Validate compliance with HUD/FHA, GSE, and investor requirements through systematic audits.

Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and fraud prevention.

Prepare QC reports summarizing findings, trends, and corrective actions.

Track and manage exceptions by documenting discrepancies, monitoring resolution timelines, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

Collaborate with Operations to resolve discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

Support audit readiness by maintaining centralized QC records and ensuring timely remediation of issues.

Recommend process improvements to enhance servicing accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Monitor KPIs related to servicing quality, regulatory adherence, and investor satisfaction.
Ensure fraud prevention by validating account details, borrower information, and transaction accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate degree or equivalent experience.

3+ years' experience in mortgage servicing QC or audit functions.

Strong knowledge of HUD/FHA, GSE, and investor servicing guidelines.

Familiarity with servicing systems (Black Knight MSP, Fiserv, or similar).

Ability to analyze complex loan data and identify discrepancies.

Strong oral and written communication skills.
