As a GoLang Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of software solutions and systems using the Go programming language, commonly known as GoLang. You will contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and work closely with the team to ensure the system is in line with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement highly scalable applications using GoLang.
• Create clean, maintainable and tested code following industry best practices.
• Translate software requirements into stable, working, high-performance software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and rollout new functionalities Provide code reviews to team members to ensure the application codebase is high quality and maintainable.
• Play an active role in troubleshooting and resolving defects in the software as they arise.
• Provide production support, including troubleshooting and resolving production defectsContribute to the design and development of robust micro services architectures.
• Work with modern DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications.
• Actively participate in agile development processes and ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Continually update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals, and accessing new applications.

Requirements

**Qualification:**Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a GoLang developer.
• Demonstrable understanding of the Go programming language and its paradigms, constructs, and idioms.
• Knowledge of common GoLang frameworks and libraries.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
• Understanding of cloud technologies like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of databases, both SQL and NoSQL, and ORM technologies.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and the ability to identify and patch vulnerabilities.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience in the payments industry: Understanding of payment gateways, payment processing, PCI compliance, and payment security measures.

• Familiarity with payment protocols and standards such as EMV, ISO 8053, ISO 20022, or similar.

• Knowledge of global payment systems, cross-border transactions, and currency exchange.

• Exposure to digital wallets, mobile payments, blockchain, or cryptocurrency technologies.

• Experience working with financial regulations and regulatory bodies.

• Previous work in developing or integrating with Point of Sale (POS) systems.

• Understanding of fraud detection and prevention methods in the payment industry.
