About the role:
CRU is seeking a Fertilizer Market Intelligence and Prices Analyst to support price discovery and current market analysis across the fertilizer industry. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality data and insight that help clients make informed decisions on market strategy, risk management, and contract negotiation. The position combines market engagement, analysis, and content creation within a collaborative global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct weekly price assessments and current market analysis across key fertilizer benchmarks.
Engage regularly with market participants to gather intelligence and input market data using the CRU Prices System.
Produce clear, timely, and high-quality market content and analysis.
Contribute to the expansion of CRU's data provider network and the development of price methodologies.
Represent CRU across the fertilizer industry as a trusted source of data and insight.
Establish market prices and form definitive market views through extensive contact with relevant market sources and data inputs.
Analyse market and related data to produce informed, supported, and reasoned content.
Ensure analysis remains coherent with wider CRU market intelligence, pricing, and forecasting views.
Maintain timely service delivery while upholding content quality standards.
Essential Criteria
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant numerate discipline.
Skills & Experience:
Ability to build, maintain, and grow an effective market intelligence network.
Experience in price discovery and market intelligence gathering, with the ability to turn insights into critical data and content.
Robust approach to data management and analysis.
Ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective collaboration and communication skills in a multi-site, international team.
Strong English writing skills, with the ability to capture key market events concisely and incorporate data and analysis into a clear CRU view.
