Job Summary  

The Technical Cybersecurity Intern will work closely with our core engineering and operations teams. You will gain hands-on experience in real-world security operations, threat monitoring, vulnerability assessment, endpoint security, cloud security, and incident response activities.

This internship is designed to provide practical exposure to enterprise security environments and prepare candidates for a professional cybersecurity career.

Key Responsibilities  

• Threat Monitoring: Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and events across client networks.
• Incident Support: Assist the core team in identifying, investigating, and responding to potential security incidents.
• Vulnerability Assessments: Support vulnerability scanning, assessment, and remediation activities.
• Endpoint & Cloud Security: Assist in deploying and monitoring endpoint security agents and cloud compliance tools.
• Analysis & Intelligence: Perform basic log analysis and threat intelligence gathering to track emerging cyber threats.
• Documentation: Document technical findings, prepare shift reports, and write basic security recommendations.

Required Base Skills  

• Strong foundational understanding of core cybersecurity concepts.
• Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN, Firewalls).
• Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic understanding of common malware types, phishing mechanisms, and ransomware threats.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications  

• Education: Pursuing or recently completed B.E. / B.Tech (CSE, IT, Cybersecurity), BCA / MCA, or B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Computer Science).
• Certifications: Any foundational cybersecurity certification program is a strong plus.

Bonus Advantage (Familiarity with any of the following):  

• Tools: Wireshark, Nmap, Nessus, Burp Suite, or any SIEM platform.
• Platforms: Microsoft Security Solutions, AWS, or Azure Cloud Security basics.
• Scripting: Basic automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
