Senior Executive (Shift Engineer- Mechanical Maintenance) Position Details Department: Mechanical Maintenance Location: Nandesari Shift: Rotational Shifts Reporting To: Manager - Maintenance Purpose of the Role Ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant machinery (pumps, compressors, reactors) by executing preventive/predictive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and managing spare parts. Minimize downtime, ensure compliance with safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO), and manage contractors during shutdowns Key Responsibilities Preventive & Corrective Maintenance : Executing PM schedules, inspecting materials, and managing equipment lubrication to prevent failures. Troubleshooting diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues on rotating (pumps, compressors, gearboxes) and static equipment (piping, heat exchangers, reactors). Plant Reliability : Ensure availability in shifts minimizing downtime of equipment. Safety & Compliance : Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with safety procedures, environmental regulations, and handling hazardous area requirements. Shutdown Planning : Planning and coordinating major plant shutdowns/turnarounds and modifications. Documentation & Spares : Maintaining maintenance records, updating equipment manuals, and managing spare parts inventory Education & Qualification BE/DME- Mechanical Experience 05 to 7 years of experience in chemical industries.
