Role Overview

We're hiring an AI Automation & Voice Agent Developer who can develop, maintain, and optimize our AI receptionist workflows.

You will work directly with Dr. Romik to:

• Improve our multi-state AI receptionist logic

• Integrate Retell AI with Zoho CRM

• Build automations using Make.com or n8n

• Connect booking tools, calendars, SMS systems, and patient flows

• Ensure compliance with RCDSO & PHIPA requirements

• Support partner clinics in implementing their own version of the AI receptionist

This role is perfect for someone who understands no-code/low-code automation, voice AI tools, and wants to work in a growing healthcare tech environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Build and optimize multi-state conversational flows (welcome, new patient, existing patient, cancel/reschedule, close call).

• Develop integrations between Retell AI, Zoho, calendars, phone systems, and internal tools.

• Create workflows in n8n or Make.com for contact creation, call summaries, scheduling, and follow-ups.

• Maintain and monitor voice AI performance and improve reliability.

• Implement API-based booking, cancellation, and rescheduling logic.

• Assist in deploying AI receptionist systems for DentaVIBE partner clinics.

• Work with PHIPA-compliant data flow and privacy best practices.

• Troubleshoot call issues, errors, and logic flow problems.

Required Skills

Must Have:

• Experience with AI voice agent platforms (Retell AI, Vapi, ElevenLabs — at least one required)

• Strong understanding of automation platforms (n8n, Make.com, Zapier)

• Knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and JSON

• Previous experience with CRM integrations (Zoho, GoHighLevel, Salesforce, or similar)

• Ability to structure multi-step or multi-state conversational flows

• Understanding of HIPAA/PHIPA-level privacy and data handling

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with dental PMS systems (ABELDent, Dentrix, Curve, NexHealth)

• Familiarity with Node.js or Python

• Experience with booking tools and calendar APIs

• Experience with Google Cloud or AWS

• UI/UX experience for improving patient experience
