Assistant Quality Analyst

As an Assistant Quality Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our food products. You will work closely with our team to implement and maintain quality control processes, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success and reputation of our company in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough quality inspections and audits of food products and processes.
• Identify and address any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.
• Implement and maintain a robust Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in line with industry regulations.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance product quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with quality goals.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on quality assurance practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in food quality and safety.
• Prepare and present quality reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant food safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in the food industry, preferably with oil and organic pulses.
• Graduate in science with a background in Food Technology (B. Tech or equivalent).
• Knowledge of quality and food safety requirements, including FSMS.
• Excellent leadership and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
