Description
- 1. JOB PURPOSE: The Junior Planning Engineer coordinates project planning, procurement, production, and client communication to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and cost-effectiveness in the fabrication and engineering industry.
- 2. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide instructions to CNC/machine shop departments based on Plate Cutting Layout (PCL) provided by the design department.
- Utilize engineering drawings to meticulously identify and assess the raw materials required for production.
- Regularly input crucial data into the ERP system to maintain up-to-date records and facilitate seamless operations.
- Initiate and process purchase requests for paint materials, considering quality, quantity, and budgetary constraints.
- Monitor and track the status of incoming raw material shipments, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management.
- Generate comprehensive job cards within the ERP system for both fabrication and painting processes, ensuring clarity and efficiency in task allocation.
- Collaborate closely with the service team to coordinate dispatch vehicle requests, optimizing scheduling and resource utilization.
- Take ownership of dispatch documentation management, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
- Perform Inspection Test Plans (ITP) as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
- Fill in for absent workers by assigning proxies as necessary.
- Report to superiors on a regular basis regarding departmental activities and issues
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by top management to support organizational objectives

- Education BE in Mechanical
Eligibility Criteria
- BE in Mechanical
- 2+ Years of Experience and 1 Year Experiences in Planning department
- Strong knowledge of Auto-CAD and 3D drawings
- In-depth understanding of prevailing project management methods
- Strong computer skills in word, excel, and power-point
- Strong accuracy & attention to detail
- Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
- Proficient to work with software
