Description
The Group Data Engineer I is a technical leader responsible for defining and implementing enterprise data engineering architecture, standards and reusable frameworks across the Group Data Platform. The role leads the design and delivery of scalable, secure, resilient and cost-efficient data pipelines and data products; drives engineering quality, automation, observability and governance; resolves complex technical challenges; and acts as a technical authority for cloud data engineering. The Principal Data Engineer works closely with architecture, governance, analytics, AI/data science, security and business teams while mentoring engineers and ensuring solutions align with enterprise strategy and operational standards.
