As an Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for preparing test solutions, conducting detailed chemical analyses, and using advanced laboratory techniques like chromatography and spectroscopy. Responsibilities:

• Prepare test solutions, compounds, and reagents for conducting tests in alignment with BL Lifesciences standards.

• Operate advanced laboratory equipment such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and spectrophotometry for testing and analysis.

• Oversee the purchasing of new laboratory supplies and ensure the availability of necessary materials for testing.
• Evaluate and ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and standards, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Assist in the development of new testing methods and improve existing procedures for greater accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with research teams to support scientific research and product development.
• Provide training and support to junior chemists and laboratory technicians, promoting knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field (higher qualifications are an added advantage).
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in the life sciences or pharmaceutical sector.
• Proficiency with scientific instruments like chromatography, spectroscopy, and other analytical tools.
