The Microbiologist will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products by conducting microbiological testing and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, finished products, and environmental samples.
• Conduct sterility testing, bioburden testing, and endotoxin testing in compliance with industry guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) at Gland Pharma.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation of microbiological activities.
• Monitor environmental conditions in production areas and recommend corrective actions when needed.
• Investigate microbiological deviations and support root cause analysis.
• Validate and qualify microbiological methods and procedures in line with company protocols.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Implement improvements in microbiological testing processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay updated with new microbiology trends, guidelines, and regulatory requirements relevant to Gland Pharma.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Microbiology or a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory (Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of microbiological testing methods, including sterility and bioburden testing.
• Familiarity with cGMP and GLP regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy in testing procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle microbial deviations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team at Gland Pharma.
• Good communication skills to liaise with cross-functional departments and present findings.
