Responsibilities

• Blood Collection: Perform blood sample collection using standard procedures for lab diagnostics at Apollo Diagnostics.
• Medication Administration: Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as prescribed by doctors.
• Patient Care: Provide professional nursing care, including patient assessment and monitoring of vital signs.
• Patient Education: Educate patients about medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures conducted at Apollo Diagnostics.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient care, treatments, and procedures in line with medical standards.
• Diagnostic Assistance: Assist with preparing patients for diagnostic tests and ensuring proper sample collection and handling.
• Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, lab technicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated patient care at Apollo Diagnostics.
• Patient Comfort: Ensure the comfort and well-being of patients throughout diagnostic and treatment processes.
• Sterilization and Hygiene: Ensure all medical equipment is properly sterilized and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the clinic.
• Emergency Support: Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing or relevant qualification as a Compounder.
• 1-6+ years of work experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in diagnostics.
• Experience in blood collection and familiarity with diagnostic procedures at Apollo Diagnostics.
• Proficiency in administering injections, medications, and basic nursing care.
• Good communication skills to interact with patients, doctors, and healthcare staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks efficiently.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to healthcare, with attention to detail.
• Must be organized, dependable, and able to work independently when required.
