Officer / Sr. Officer - Raw Material

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct research to identify potential vendors and negotiate prices for packing materials.
2. Collaborate with management to determine the supply needs of the organization.
3. Recommend and implement solutions to existing processes to minimize waste and increase productivity.
4. Record and assess the quality, movement, and expenditure of all packing materials.
5. Manage the distribution of supplies within the organization, ensuring timely delivery.
6. Monitor inventory levels and control access to packing materials.
7. Work with management to develop forecasting models for future supply needs.
8. Supervise and provide support to subordinates and new employees.
9. Prepare and maintain detailed records on procurement activities, quantities, and vendors.
10. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies regarding packing material procurement.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or packaging industry.
3. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
5. Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office applications.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work well in a team environment and lead a team if required.
8. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
9. Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices.
10. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
