Job Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications to patients, ensuring that they receive the correct medications and dosages. In addition, they will be responsible for monitoring drug therapy for effectiveness and adverse effects, counseling patients on drug therapy, and communicating with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications to patients, ensuring that they receive the correct medications and dosages
• Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
• Monitor drug therapy for effectiveness and adverse effects
• Counsel patients on drug therapy, including medication administration and possible side effects
• Communicate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate medication records and inventory control
• Participate in the development and implementation of medication use policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Valid state pharmacy license
• Strong knowledge of medication properties, interactions, and side effects
• Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately and quickly
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Prior experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting preferred.
