Job Description:

Narayana Health (NH) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our esteemed team in Guwahati, Assam. As a Physiotherapist at Narayana Health, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient recovery and well-being. Your expertise in various physiotherapy techniques, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, and electrotherapy, will be essential in providing top-notch care to our patients. You will work closely with our medical team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer treatments to patients using manual physiotherapy, exercise therapy, and electrotherapy techniques at Narayana Health.
• Participate in evening, night, and holiday services, focusing on advanced respiratory techniques and managing sick patients.
• Provide care to allocated patients in the designated areas, such as wards and ITU, under the supervision of the unit In-Charge at Narayana Health.
• Assess pre-operative patients and educate them about physiotherapy, including breathing exercises and Incentive spirometry.
• Evaluate patients in the ITU and deliver appropriate physiotherapy services, ensuring early mobilization.
• Offer physiotherapy services to post-operative patients, including group exercise therapy complemented by music therapy.
• Assist in preparing patients for discharge under the supervision of senior staff and unit In-Charge.
• Regularly report activities, patient care progress, and any concerns to the unit In-Charge and Head of Department at Narayana Health.
• Update all relevant patient records and maintain documentation in the designated unit.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) or Master's degree in Physiotherapy (MPT).
• Relevant work experience in a clinical setting preferred at Narayana Health.
• Strong knowledge of physiotherapy techniques and patient management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and holidays.
