Job Description:

Join the dynamic team at Reliance Retail as a Registered Pharmacist in Bengaluru, Karnataka. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced pharmacist to ensure optimal patient care through the safe and effective use of medications. In this role, you will be a vital part of Reliance Retail, responsible for compounding and dispensing medications as prescribed by physicians. You will also provide valuable health and wellness services to our customers. Your duties will include monitoring drug therapies, advising on potential side effects, and conducting health screenings, including immunizations.

Responsibilities:

• Compounding and dispensing medications accurately, as per physician prescriptions at Reliance Retail.
• Monitoring and reviewing customers' drug therapies, advising on necessary interventions.
• Instructing customers on proper medication usage, including dosage timing and side effects.
• Conducting health and wellness screenings, such as blood pressure and blood sugar checks.
• Providing immunizations and other essential medical services.
• Keeping detailed and accurate customer records, ensuring confidentiality at Reliance Retail.
• Maintaining a clean and safe pharmacy environment.
• Completing operational tasks, including verifying order entries and managing controlled substances.
• Removing expired or damaged medications from inventory.
• Adhering to all legal rules and regulations governing pharmaceutical practice.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology.
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
• Proven experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of dosage requirements, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy software like MEDITECH and Mediware.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment at Reliance Retail.
