Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately based on doctors' and dentists' prescriptions to ensure patient safety.
• Offer guidance to customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment, and healthcare supplies at Apollo Pharmacy.
• Educate customers about proper medication usage, possible side effects, and drug interactions.
• Maintain adequate stock of pharmaceutical and medical supplies by regularly ordering and managing inventory.
• Follow proper storage practices to ensure the safe handling and quality preservation of drugs at Apollo Pharmacy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring an excellent service experience.
• Ensure that the pharmacy complies with all legal and regulatory guidelines related to the sale and dispensing of medications.
• Manage the pharmacy's daily operations, including inventory control, billing, and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and accurate drug dispensing.
• Keep up-to-date with new medications, medical supplies, and pharmaceutical trends to enhance service delivery.

Requirements:

• A D. Pharm / B. Pharm / M. Pharm degree is required.
• Freshers or candidates with relevant pharmacy retail experience are welcome to apply (experience up to Supervisor Level is preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of medicines and pharmaceutical products is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for providing clear guidance to customers at Apollo Pharmacy.
• Ability to manage stock, place orders, and handle pharmaceutical supplies effectively.
• Attention to detail and precision in dispensing medications and managing prescriptions.
• Knowledge of drug interactions, side effects, and safe handling of medications.
• Familiarity with basic computer software and pharmacy management systems is an added advantage.
