Responsibilities:

• Collect, receive, label, and analyze samples using appropriate testing equipment.
• Perform laboratory testing in line with standard operating procedures and guidelines at Diagnostic Services.
• Record and document all test results accurately, both in written and electronic formats.
• Safely store and organize chemical substances, fluids, and gases as per laboratory safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) management systems.
• Manage and operate both electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment to ensure the safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Interpret test results, report findings, and communicate them to the appropriate personnel.
• Support the implementation of new diagnostic testing procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest laboratory techniques and advancements in diagnostic testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
• Valid laboratory technician license.
• Proven experience working in a lab, particularly within Diagnostic Services.
• Familiarity with operating various laboratory equipment and analyzing data.
• Strong understanding of QHSE management systems and laboratory best practices.
• Ability to handle potentially hazardous substances such as biohazards and flammable liquids.
• Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail in recording experimental data.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
