The role involves enforcing EHS protocols, training site teams, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with applicable railway, statutory, and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain a robust safety management system, including risk assessments, incident investigation reports, and emergency response plans.
• Provide training and awareness programs on safety procedures, protocols, and best practices to all site personnel.
• Collaborate with project teams to plan and conduct emergency drills and mock exercises.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable EHS laws, Indian Railways safety standards, and project-specific requirements.
• Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, track works, lifting, confined space entry, and electrical work.
• Maintain accurate records of safety documentation including permits, inspections, incident logs, and safety meeting minutes.

• Experience: 2–5 years in a Safety Officer or equivalent role, preferably in railways, metro, or infrastructure projects.
• Qualification: Diploma (any specialization) from a recognized institution with a government-approved Industrial Safety Certification.
• Safety Officer:
  • B.Sc. / B.E. + Diploma in Safety (recognized institute, as per Factory Act)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure/railway projects
• Safety Supervisor:
  • 10 + 2 (Science) / ITI/Diploma with 4–6 years of relevant experience
