Job Title: Site Supervisor – Railway Projects

Department: Construction / EngineeringLocation: Coimbatore [Tamil Nadu] Reports To: Project Manager / Site Engineer

Job Summary

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising day‐to‐day railway construction and maintenance activities at site, ensuring work is executed safely, on time, and as per Indian Railways standards, drawings, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily site activities related to track works, civil works, OHE, signaling, or station development. Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, plans, and Indian Railways specifications. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and labor teams. Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), site logs, and measurement records. Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, railway safety rules, and PPE usage. Monitor quality of materials and workmanship at site. Assist in inspection, testing, and commissioning activities. Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and manpower. Identify and report site issues, delays, and risks to the Project Manager. Support billing measurements and documentation. Coordinate with Railway officials and third‐party inspectors when required.

• Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (as applicable)
• 3–8 years of experience in railway projects (track, OHE, civil, signaling, or electrification)
• Good knowledge of Indian Railways standards, procedures, and safety norms
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and BOQs
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word)
• Willingness to work at remote project sites and night shifts if required
• Certification in Railway Signaling / Telecom will be an added advantage.
