Network Engineer (N1)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer L2 to join our IT/Networking team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring and managing routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure.

Qualifications and Skills: B.Tech / B.E / B.Sc. in Computer Science / IT / ECE engineering, BCA.

Location: Delhi / NCR

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, monitor, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and maintain service level agreements (SLAs).
• Implement network security policies and firewall rules to safeguard the organization's IT assets.
• Perform network performance tuning, capacity planning, and traffic analysis.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of new network hardware and software.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, configurations, and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network upgrades and projects.
• Support incident management and provide escalation support for complex network issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience with router, switch, and firewall configuration and management.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
• Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting network performance issues.
• Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto/Checkpoint, or similar are a plus.
