Senior Electrical Engineer

Epicure Robotics

Bengaluru
Full-Time
0-3 Years experience

Description

Epicure Robotics builds autonomous robotic kiosks that prepare and serve fresh food and beverages with precision and consistency. Its products include smart smoothie and beverage kiosks powered by a modular robotics and software platform, enabling hygienic, contactless, and scalable food automation for offices and public spaces.

People Are All That Matter

Epicure is built on the belief that slides or plans do not make companies; they're made by people who genuinely care.
Hardware is hard. Building real things in the real world is tough. And only people who are driven, curious, and willing to stretch can make it happen. That's why we prioritise people over processes

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical / Electronics Engineer to own electronics development across the entire lifecycle including PCB design, embedded programming, R&D testing, assembly, and production support for our automated robotic food kiosks. This is a full-time, on-site role for someone who enjoys building real products, iterating fast, and taking designs from prototype to deployment.

Key Responsibility

  • Design schematics and multi-layer PCBs for embedded and power electronics
  • Select electronic components considering performance, availability, and cost
  • Design power distribution, motor control, sensor interfaces, and safety circuits
  • Programming and debugging STM microcontrollers for system control and peripheral interfacing is a plus

R&D & Testing

  • Build and test early prototypes for new subsystems and features
  • Validate designs through functional, stress, and reliability testing
  • Debug hardware and firmware interactions and resolve electrical issues
  • Implement and tune basic control systems including open-loop and simple closed-loop control

Assembly & Production

  • Oversee PCB assembly, wiring, routing, and panel integration
  • Create wiring diagrams, BOMs, and assembly instructions for production
  • Support pilot builds and scale designs for small-batch and mass production
  • Work closely with vendors for PCB fabrication and assembly

System Integration

  • Integrate electronics with motors, pumps, valves, sensors, and other electromechanical components
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software teams for end-to-end system integration
  • Ensure electrical safety, reliability, and compliance with internal standards

Requirements

  • Strong fundamentals in electronics and electrical engineering
  • Experience designing schematics and PCBs using Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar tools
  • Hands-on experience with STM microcontrollers such as STM32 or STM8 is a plus
  • Proficiency with MCU peripherals including GPIO, ADC, PWM, UART, I2C, and SPI
  • Understanding of power electronics, motor drivers, and sensor interfaces
  • Working knowledge of control systems including feedback loops and basic PID concepts
  • Comfortable with soldering, rework, testing, and debugging hardware
  • Ability to take ownership from concept to prototype to production

Job Details

  • Role: Senior Electrical / Electronics Engineer, Full-Time
  • Mode: On-site
  • Joining Date: Immediate
  • Compensation: As per market standards
