Executive- Last Mile

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Operations team as an Executive-Last Mile. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating and executing last-mile deliveries, working closely with our 3PL partners and internal teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing delivery timelines, resolving exceptions, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily last-mile dispatches with 3PL partners and internal fleet teams, ensuring efficient collaboration.
• Monitor real-time delivery tracking and promptly address any delivery exceptions or escalations.
• Support route planning and provide practical suggestions for improvements based on on-ground insights.
• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries, adhering to defined SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
• Collaborate with warehouse, dispatch, and customer service teams for smooth order handovers and effective communication.
• Maintain daily MIS (Management Information Systems) and assist in creating delivery performance dashboards for data-driven decision-making.
• Assist in field audits, hub visits, and vendor reviews as needed, ensuring compliance and performance standards.
• Stay updated with the latest logistics technology tools and industry best practices to enhance operations.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and performance within the team, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in last-mile logistics, dispatch, or delivery operations, preferably in e-commerce, FMCG, or 3PL environments.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, route optimization tools, and Excel for efficient operations management.
• Strong communication skills to effectively manage on-ground teams and partners, ensuring clear and concise instructions.
• Problem-solving abilities with a high attention to detail, enabling quick resolution of delivery exceptions and escalations.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Willingness to travel locally (up to 20%) for audits, field supervision, and on-site support as required.
• Experience in B2B and B2C delivery operations, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of each.
• Knowledge of logistics technology tools and a desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, always seeking opportunities to optimize delivery processes.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
