Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare in-house engineering drawings for solar PV projects, including SLDs, layouts, GA drawings, and detailed electrical drawings.
• Develop technical specifications for all major solar plant equipment's.
• Prepare and float RFQs, evaluate technical offers, and support techno-commercial finalisation.
• Prepare and manage the MDL (Master Document List) and ensure timely submission of drawings.
• Support project costing, budget estimation, and BOQ preparation.
• Provide technical support for bidding and tendering, including compliance statements, deviations, and clarifications.
• Ensure all designs comply with IS / IEC / CEA / DISCOM / SECI / NTPC standards.
• Support testing, commissioning, and grid synchronisation activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E./B.tech – Electrical Engineering
• 3-5 years' experience in solar EPC project engineering

Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in solar plant electrical design and drawing preparation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PV Syst, Sketchup and ETAP / SKM will be added advantage.
• Experience in RFQs, MDL, costing, and bidding support
• Good coordination and documentation skills
