Description
Role Summary
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshooting of common Windows OS issues, system slowness, application errors, blue screen, boot issues, etc.
- Desktop/Laptop hardware troubleshooting including RAM, HDD/SSD, keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc.
- Printer installation and troubleshooting, including network/shared printers.
- Installation and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office / Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and user account-related issues.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory – user creation, password reset, account unlock and group membership.
- Basic knowledge of LAN/Wi-Fi/network troubleshooting.
- Troubleshooting basic TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP issues.
- Configuration and troubleshooting of network connectivity, IP address, gateway and DNS settings.
- Basic knowledge of VPN client installation and troubleshooting.
- Installation and configuration of required software and applications.
- Antivirus/endpoint security installation, troubleshooting and monitoring.
- Laptop/Desktop formatting, OS installation, driver installation and system configuration.
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server and shared folder/permission troubleshooting.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and hardware/software records.
- Provide first-level support to users through phone, email, remote support and onsite visits.
- Troubleshoot email, internet, printer, scanner and other peripheral-related issues.
- Maintain proper IT support tickets, incident records and documentation.
- Ability to diagnose issues independently and provide timely resolution.
