Vendor Manager

Managing full financial P&L for the category/accounts. Managing Budget deployment and Revenue for the category. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, proven experience working as a vendor manager/category manager will be an added advantage. Strong negotiation, management, and decision-making skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to think strategically and tactically, with excellent attention to detail. Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Candidate should be detail-oriented and adept at negotiating vendor contracts, should be able to multitask effectively as well as demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors. Analysing data or insights to formulate product, sales and pricing strategies and align with the vendors regarding the same. Implementing vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are Onboarded. Will be responsible for determining customer market needs, growing selection across sub-categories, Optimizing Vendor Trade Terms, and getting support for Marketing campaigns. Responsible for Pricing and Demand generation. This includes working with other members of the category management team to come up with innovative promotions and site features to improve customer experience. Owning Business metrics and data quality.
