Sr. Backend Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and services
• Architect and develop scalable backend systems using Node.js and MongoDB
• Leverage AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes for cloud-native deployments and infrastructure automation
• Collaborate closely with the CTO & other business stakeholders to turn requirements into elegant technical solutions
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring systems for reliability and observability
• Take ownership of the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to deployment and post-launch monitoring
• Influence key technical decisions and help shape the engineering roadmap
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system architecture and drive innovation
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices

Requirements

• B.Tech or B.E degree in computer science or allied fields
• 3+ years of professional backend experience
• Deep expertise in Node.js, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming and design patterns
• Solid experience working with MongoDB at scale
• Proven experience deploying and managing services on AWS (EC2, S3).
• Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized environments
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills, debugging practices, and system design abilities
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices
• Comfort with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test-driven development
• Interest in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE practices (Nice to have)
