  Role OverviewWe are hiring a hands‐on Automation Engineer (3–5 years) to build and scale production‐grade test automation frameworks for enterprise mortgage platforms.This role is not execution‐only QA—it requires engineering depth, framework ownership, and system‐level thinking.   🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of Playwright CLI/MCP and a foundational understanding of how AI/LLM models work, to effectively use AI‐assisted automation tooling.
• Own and build scalable automation frameworks using **Playwright

• TypeScript/JavaScript** for UI and API layers

• Design modular, reusable, and maintainable automation architecture (POM, fixtures, service abstractions, utilities)

• Automate complex, real‐world workflows across mortgage lifecycle:

  • Customer onboarding
  • Document ingestion & validation
  • Underwriting decision flows
  • Loan lifecycle events

• Drive automation‐first engineering practices:

  • Define coding standards, framework design patterns
  • Ensure testability during feature design
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines:
    • Enable continuous testing and fast feedback loops
    • Ensure stable regression execution in pipelines

• Build and maintain:

  • UI regression suites
  • API automation suites
  • Integration/E2E test coverage

• Improve test reliability and execution performance:

  • Parallel execution
  • Flaky test reduction
  • Smart test selection strategies

• Perform deep defect analysis:

  • Root cause identification
  • Validate fixes at system level

• Collaborate with:

  • Backend engineers → API testability
  • Frontend teams → UI stability
  • Product teams → acceptance criteria clarity

• Mentor junior engineers and drive shift‐left quality culture

🔹 Technical Skills ✅ Core (Must‐Have Depth)- Strong programming in JavaScript / TypeScript

• Deep hands‐on experience with Playwright (mandatory)
