Position Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have basic trading knowledge, be proficient in both frontend and backend testing, and possess a good understanding of JavaScript.

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Perform regression testing, functional testing, and usability testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on software quality.
• Participate in requirement analysis and design discussions to define the scope of testing.
• Maintain and update testing documentation and reports.
• Ensure that the software meets quality standards and user expectations.
• Communicate testing status, defect reports, and resolutions with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
• Develop quality assurance strategies and organize phased testing.
• Conduct integration testing using dummy programs to simulate data communication and validate system performance.
• Perform exploratory testing to evaluate software functionality and identify defects on the fly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with regression testing, functional testing, and usability testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Notion).
• Basic knowledge of trading and Futures & Options (F&O).
• Proficiency in both frontend and backend testing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to new technologies.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
