ERP Technical Consultant

What you will do

• Customize and extend the functionality of ERPNext and/or Odoo systems to meet customer specifications outlined in the BRD.
• Develop new modules, features, and functionalities to enhance the ERP system's capabilities.

Technical Design

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical designs.

• Design and document technical solutions for ERP customizations and developments.

Coding and Scripting

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python and JavaScript to implement ERP customizations.
• Utilize scripting languages to automate tasks and enhance system performance.

Integration and API Development

• Integrate ERP systems with other business applications and external services.
• Develop and maintain APIs to facilitate data exchange between ERPNext/Odoo and external systems.

Database Management

• Design and optimize database structures to support the efficient storage and retrieval of data.
• Perform data migrations and transformations as needed for ERP customizations.

Testing and Debugging

• Conduct thorough testing of developed functionalities to identify and resolve bugs and issues.
• Collaborate with the testing team to ensure the reliability and quality of the developed solutions.

Documentation

• Create detailed technical documentation for customizations, developments, and integrations.
• Maintain version control and documentation repositories for ERP projects
