Description
- Own mechanical sourcing across all product development stages — from early R&D to scalable manufacturing.
- Work closely with product design, mechanical, embedded, and manufacturing teams to align sourcing strategies with product goals.
- Identify and qualify domestic and international vendors, lead commercial negotiations, and build strong supplier relationships.
- Handle BoM (Bill of Materials) costing, manage cost-down initiatives, and drive component-level sourcing optimization.
- Source a variety of components including:
- Plastics & sheet metal parts
- Bought-out parts like motors, heaters, sensors, tubes, valves, and instrumentation
- Coordinate prototype part sourcing and production-ready component procurement with agility and speed.
- Support processes related to quality control and logistics in collaboration with internal team members.
- Maintain and enhance sourcing workflows using our Zoho-based internal systems.
