Associate Designer - 2D

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

2D Draftsman

with 3–4 years of experience in 2D CAD drafting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, and plans based on project requirements, specifications, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

2D CAD drawings

including plans, elevations, sections, and details

Modify and update existing drawings as per project requirements

Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to understand design intent

Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards, codes, and specifications

Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings

Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, and completeness

Support project execution by providing timely drawing deliverables

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma or certification in Drafting, Civil/Mechanical/Architectural Engineering (or related field)

3–4 years of hands-on experience in 2D CAD drafting

Proficiency in

AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software

Strong understanding of drafting standards and technical detailing

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Effective communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills (Optional):

Experience in [Civil / Mechanical / Architectural / Electrical] drafting

Knowledge of basic design principles

Experience working in a project-based or consulting environment
