Accountant

Garodia Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our educational institution. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, to support decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• Monitor and analyze school budgets, expenses, and revenues to identify areas for improvement and cost-cutting opportunities

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and other financial transactions

• Collaborate with other departments to create and monitor financial plans and budgets

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

• Conduct regular financial audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely tax filings and other financial reports to relevant authorities

• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, accounting regulations, and financial reporting standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the education sector

• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices

• Proficiency in accounting software.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
