Description

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Global Capability Center in Mumbai. This role supports end-to-end recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, pre-employment, and onboarding, to ensure timely and high-quality hiring outcomes. The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners closely with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to identify, evaluate, and select candidates. The role also maintains accurate documentation and compliance with employment laws, coordinates background checks, prepares offers, and ensures a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.

Essential Duties

  • Collaborate with business leaders and HR partners to understand and support hiring needs
  • Post job openings on internal and external platforms and execute sourcing strategies
  • Develop sourcing plans and conduct targeted sourcing activities
  • Define technical and behavioral selection criteria in partnership with HR Business Partners and hiring managers
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and assess candidate profiles
  • Shortlist qualified candidates and present recommendations to interviewing managers
  • Schedule interviews and oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
  • Ensure integrity of the Applicant Tracking System (Workday) through accurate maintenance of applicant documents, job descriptions, offer letters, forms, job requisitions, and applicant dispositions
  • Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to develop, extend, and negotiate employment offers
  • Generate and distribute offer letters, including required links and forms
  • Maintain strong candidate communication throughout the hiring process, including acceptance and rejection notifications
  • Initiate and review background checks and pre-employment screening activities
  • Coordinate onboarding documentation, equipment provisioning, and communications with appropriate internal teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment or HR operations

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Familiarity with ATS systems and HR documentation processes

  • Knowledge of basic employment laws and hiring compliance

  • Consistently follows established processes and ensures adherence to legal, regulatory, and organizational compliance standards
