Job Description
We are inviting applications for the role of Manager Taxation Responsibilities:
- US and Canada Income Tax Compliance: Preparation of underlying tax calculations to support US federal and state and Canadian income tax reporting obligations.
- Coordinate with client finance teams to manage tax-related reporting reconciliations and month-end close activities.
- Tax Reconciliation & Accounting: Ability to reconcile tax accounts validate tax data and support income tax accounting as well as accounting treatment of indirect taxes.
- Support tax operations for client entities including providing support in maintaining tax compliance calendars ensuring timely submissions and avoiding penalties.
- Collaborate with client finance and operations teams to resolve tax discrepancies and improve compliance processes.
- Support retained Tax leader during tax audits and notices coordinating within various stakeholders and supporting in providing necessary documentation.
- Support business requests for vendor approvals business license renewals and other tax requests to support the business.
- Maintain tax related attribute schedules such as Canadian PUC and Earned Surplus calculations.
